A collection of funny single frames hidden in impact splashes you sometimes see in animation, especially anime.

Project A-ko, 1986

The earliest example of this I have found so far.
Found when A-ko casually runs through a stone wall, the morning after the girls had a nice evening out, as she and C-ko are once again almost late to school.
This one is pretty simple, though I do wonder what the text says.

Dragon Half: Mink’s Journey, 1993 (AKA episode 1)

Found in the fight between Mink and Damaramu, where Mink is casually sidestepping all of Damaramu’s attacks and then bends down a small tree to smack Damaramu in the face.
The old lady seen in the impact frame is Dragon Half character that doesn’t appear anywhere else in the anime. The production of the anime was stopped well before the story ever got to The Dream Angel, Magical Yone, in chapter 33 of the manga.
Jungle King Tar-chan, unknown

Jungle King Tar-chan, 1993 (episode unkonwn)

I’ve already forgotten where this impact frame appeared. I think it was one of the early episode.
I honestly have no idea what’s going on here. I think Tar-chan is “pushing a log” here. Would be fitting for the series.

Shangri-La Frontier, 2024 (season 2, episode 1)

Found after the golem battle, as Aramiys gets a bit too hand on with Bilac.
Judging by the impact frame, he quite enjoys the hammer to his jaw. The freak.

The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World, 2025 (season 1, episode 6)

Found in the middle of the scene where Red suddenly finds himself in Yihdra’s bath and slips while clampering out of it.
Appears to depict princess Teltina in a magical girl form with curious animal ears I can’t really pin down.
